Somatic Bodywork for Nervous System Healing & Whole-Body Integration

What is Somatic Bodywork?

This work is a gentle yet powerful combination of hands-on bodywork and somatic (body-based) awareness practices. Unlike massage that focuses only on muscles, or talk therapy that lives in the mind, somatic bodywork bridges the two—working directly with the nervous system, fascia, breath, and subtle holding patterns to help you release stored tension, emotion, and survival responses from the body.

We don’t “fix” your body.

We listen to it—then help it unwind, reorganize, and remember how to feel safe again.

What Happens in a Session?

Each somatic bodywork session is unique and responsive to what your body needs that day, but may include:
• Gentle hands-on touch to support deep release
• Subtle movements that re-pattern tension
• Breath & awareness techniques to bring you back to your body
• Nervous system regulation to shift you out of “fight or flight”
• Space to feel, express and integrate.

This is not a deep-tissue massage. It’s slow, intentional work that meets your body with compassion and patience—often unlocking tension you didn’t even know you were carrying.

This Work Is For You If...

• You feel stuck in cycles of stress, shutdown, or overwhelm
• You hold emotion or trauma in your body and don’t know how to release it
• You’re healing from burnout, birth, grief or chronic dysregulation
• You have ongoing back and hip problems
• You’re craving to reconnect with your body
• You want to ease pain, tension & stress

What to Expect

First Time? We’ll begin with a short conversation to understand what’s going on in your body—physically, emotionally, and energetically. From there, you’ll lie on the table fully clothed, and do a body scan to check in.

During the hands-on part of your session you may feel sensations release, emotions surface, or your breath deepen as your system lets go of what it’s been holding. This is your body coming back into regulation—gently, naturally, and without force.
